The Congress party intensified its preparations for the Panchkula Municipal Corporation elections by filing the nomination papers of mayoral candidate Mrs. Sudha Bhardwaj along with candidates from all 20 wards. The nomination process was completed in the presence of Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee President Rao Narendra Singh.
A large number of Congress workers, office bearers, and supporters were present during the nomination. Sudha Bhardwaj arrived at the nomination venue with a convoy of hundreds of vehicles. Party workers displayed great enthusiasm and raised slogans in support of the Congress party and candidate Sudha Bhardwaj.
On this occasion, the Pradesh Congress President said that the people of Panchkula want change and that the Congress party has entered the election field with the issues of development, transparency, and public welfare. He said that Sudha Bhardwaj is a hardworking, honest, and dedicated candidate committed to public service, and she will receive overwhelming support from the people.
Mayoral candidate Sudha Bhardwaj said that she would work with full dedication for the development of Panchkula city, cleanliness, better civic amenities, women’s safety, and a bright future for the youth. She appealed to the people for their blessings and support.
All India Congress Committee General Secretary and MP Kumari Selja and Sh. Randeep Singh Surjewala; local MLA Chandermohan addressed the huge gathering on the occasion and appealed to the public to ensure a massive victory for the Congress candidate.
After the nomination program, Congress workers also carried out a show of strength in the city with great enthusiasm. Congress leaders claimed that the people of Panchkula would vote in favor of Congress and set a new direction for development in the Municipal Corporation elections.
